Idea behind the painting: Marcus Mariota played college football at University of Oregon where he was the starting quarterback from 2012 to 2014. As a junior in 2014, Mariota became the first Oregon player and Hawaii-born athlete to ever win the Heisman Trophy. In 2015, Mariota took the Oregon Ducks to the College Football National Championship. This painting was commissioned by a lady as a Christmas present to her husband. The original is not for sale, but high quality prints on fine artist paper or canvas are available.
