Love for the Little Man

Idea behind the painting: I love the Oscars. I typically go to a friends house, where we use voting forms to see who can guess the most winners. This is a painting I did for one such Oscars party. The party was a 1960’s theme. Peter Max and his art became famous in the 60s, so I thought it would be appropriate party decorations. In the painting, a little gremlin (representing all average people, like myself and friends) is holding onto his big love.
